Requirement: Application to be installed

Softwares Required to Install HCM9.2 on PeopleTools 8.53
Here is the list of softwares that you would need to install HCM9.2 with PeopleTools8.53 running on Oracle 11G R2 and Windows 7.
Oracle Database 11g R2 for Windows (x64)
Oracle Database software is available for download in 2 parts from Oracle software download site. Files that needed to be downloaded are
Part1 – win64_11gR2_database_1of2.zip
Part2 – win64_11gR2_database_2of2.zip
Oracle Database 11g R2 Client for Windows (32-bit)
You would also need to download Oracle Client for Windows 32 bit. If you’re wondering that why do we need to install 32 bit client on Windows 7 which itself is a 64 bit OS, answer is that PeopleTools development tools like PeopleSoft Application Designer and Datamover are still at 32-bit and need a 32-bit Oracle client to connect to a 64-bit database.
If you try to use 64-bit client to connect to 64 bit database, you will get this error while logging “Missing or invalid version of SQL Library PSORA (200,0)“.
Download Oracle 11g R2 Client for Windows (32-bit): win32_11gR2_client.zip
PeopleTools 8.53
PeopleTools 8.53 can be downloaded for Oracle’s edelivery site i.e edelivery.oracle.com by choosing the correct platform i.e Windows 64-bit. Files that needs to be downloaded are:

PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.53 Disc 2 of 3
PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.53 Disc 3 of 3

Tuxedo 11
Tuxedo Software that is required for Application Server and Process Scheduler administration is also available on edelivery. Make sure you download the Version for Windows 64-bit.
Oracle Weblogic Server 10.3.6
Oracle WebLogic Server is required for installation of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA). There is a generic version of this software available for download on edelivery. File that needs to be downloaded is
wls1036_generic.jar
JDK 64-bit for Windows7
If you install the generic version of Oracle WebLogic Server on Windows 7, you will get error while installing PIA as PIA needs 64-bit installation of Oracle WebLogic Server. To install WebLogic in 64-bit mode, JDK 64-bit is required. After installing JDK, check the current java being used by running the command ‘java -version’ and confirm it points to 64-bit JDK.
Command line used to install Weblogic in 64-bit mode (assuming java is pointed to JDK 64-bit)
java -Xmx1024m -jar C:\PeopleSoft\9.2\Weblogic\V29856-01\wlsversion_generic.jar

Thanks,
Mohan
Hi Mohan
There might be multiple reasons for the same. Please check the following.
1. Check if Connect ID/password are correct in Configuration Manager.
2. Connect to database with connect id/password and see if you can select PSOPRDEFN,PSSTATUS,PSACCESSPRFL tables.
3. Check if user id PS isn’t locked. Check PSOPRDEFN table.
Is this first time you’re trying to login after the installation? Were you able to finish your database creation steps (eg. dbsetup, project copy etc.).?
Let me know.
Thanks Prashant, this is great, we have almost identical to this except the DB running on Linux. now we want to move the application Tier to the latest version of Linux and Weblogic 12.2.1.4, could you please provide help on the high level? the DB will still be the same in Linux. Thank you very much!! very appreciate it!!
